Both newcomers and veteran visitors alike can learn more about the Lake’s fascinating history and its native inhabitants, the Paiute Indian tribe, at the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Museum and Visitor Center. The museum has various displays and that detail the intricate tribal history, culture and allow visitors a little insight as to why the Paiute people hold the lake and its surrounding landscape so sacred.
